alko27
I've sent an email to Phones 4 u regarding a complaint over my mobile phone. I'm curious of what their response will be, I will let you know. I complained to Argos about 2 years ago about the delivery drivers not taking a tumble dryer upstairs, refusing to take the old one away and wrecking my carpet at the front door, they sent me a cheque for £45 to clean the carpet. So my question is; Whose had the best return from a complaint?

Halibut
I complained about a foreign body in a meal the other day. The waitress was very pleasant about it, spoke to the chef, who sent his apologies and we got the drinks we'd had knocked off the bill. I was very satisfied. LaughingCow
I complained about some photos I had printed at Boots and got 1200 Advantage card points (even though it was my fault they had come out dodgy )
neeeeeeeeeek
I got over 300 quid from a well known supermarket after chipping a tooth on a small bolder in some musili. I was not after compensation, I just hoped they might pay the 80 quid for my tooth to be fixed.

In contrast, I found a stone in a mushroom ravioli in a local restaraunt and was told they'd let the manufacturer know and get back to me. They never did. No offer of any money off the bill or anything.
