Cyclone
I've seen a few posts from people going skiing or boarding soon, neeeek and the guy who bought my old bindings last week. Should we have a mega thread, or a winter holiday group? Or maybe just a thread is enough. I'm off to Meribel in a few weeks with a group of 9 other friends on our annual boarding trip, a mixture of abilities and a few new people, but I'm really looking forward to getting back out on the mountain. And then in February I've got this course http://www.mcnabsnowboarding.com/details/page/29 A back country intro course booked in Chamonix. It's a school I've been to before, I've done the on piste and off piste technical weeks, the BC intro is the next step and will involve a lot of hiking, mountain safety, learning to read the snow and check the conditions etc... It'll be a hard week, but I think it'll be even more fun than the group trip. So what have you got planned, what gear do you use, what's new for this season, etc... HeadingNorth
We're going to Somerset for four nights in a Travelodge. It hardly seems worth mentioning.

Cyclone
Mid January. Reports look reasonable at the moment with more snow forecast.
Erstwhile
Sorry to barge in with this, but I'm currently doing a course at uni that requires designing & marketing a new type of snowmobile, and we are in dire need of some opinions from people who go on winter/ ski&snowboard holidays. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/9VBZFDP ...is a link to our survey, it's 6 questions and should take under 2 minutes to complete (honestly, we timed it!) If anyone could find the time to complete it, it would be very much appreciated. It takes no effort and would help us out a lot. Cheeeers!
