pudah25
went NYE, from my point of view it was awesome, not seen anything like it in sheffield before. if you like good old fashioned packed rave in a warehouse with 2 of the best soundsystems in sheffield, a makeshift bar and a some grotty couches to chill out on then, yeh its awesome. no mod cons, 1 gents toilet, but amazing music, and not 1 bit of trouble all night. very underground, but very good! Max Power
NYE was really quite excellent with a three hour set by DAVE the drummer and plenty besides. It's been many years since Sheffield had a venue worthy of attracting underground DJ's of this class. MCode has been the first venue to invite Stay Up Forever DJ's back to Sheffield since the Arches closed down, in fact. If you're an old raver or a curious youngster who missed the nineties and early naughties, this is shaping up to be the place to revisit techno at its finest. Oh and they have a dubstep/heavy bass room too.
discodown
I've got to admit i've heard good things about this venue. Its tremendous that someone is doing something like this, lets hope people will travel and make the effort to keep it open, god knows sheffield needs it

As Dan says - Henry Cullen - DAVE the Drummer played at Planet Zogg a year or two back and he's definitely played at a few other sheffield parties (Future Funk & others) since the Arches shut down. Anyway - that aside - good to see a new underground venue in Sheffield.
