Would you grass up the people who poked Camilla?

Recommended Posts

Absolutely. A throwback to the days of feudal serfdom. In a decent society people would want to remove the last symbolic vestiges of the masters/slaves system. The fact so many view with nostalgia those days of the ruthless gangster families - who ruled Europe with an iron fist for centuries - only demonstrates they have been effectively brainwashed from birth.

Without the royals, house of Lords, etc, who do you think would be running the country? The bankers, the masters, e.g. those with the biggest clout!

The one's whose families can afford it, who cares... They in reality are just feeding the system and trying to educate their families, nothing wrong there.

As for working class, yes i'd like everybody to do at least further education and the opportunity for higher education, but it's not for everybody. Also as an economy we can't afford it. But in reality, yes the costs have gone up, but so has the security blanket for the lesser achievers.

Just because you dont pay your own fees, doesnt mean your a lesser acheiver...likewise, just because your family is rich doesnt mean youre going to succeed...

Therefore, I dont believe the way to separate the acheivers from the lesser acheivers is the amount of money they have..a better way would be to raise the academic requirements to get into uni for example...

And as far as "who cares", I care because as I say, these students are our future doctors, surgeons, dentists, social workers. etc...so as an economy, its important we invest in them...

But surely when they're doctors, dentists and surgeons and earning megabucks, they could afford to pay it back?

As for the "poker", what's the betting that they weren't genuine students but part of the mob intent to cause trouble?

No, I wasn't calling the non fee payers lesser achievers par se, rather saying that even if they finish Uni and don't get an above average job or don't even finish Uni, they still won't have to pay!

P.S. I'm from a working to middle class background!

I did a college course for fun a few years ago and the tutor (also a uni lecturer) allowed cheating to happen and many went on to uni, only to fail miserably and get lumbered with debt.

No, not anymore! But since your so called peaceful protest is riddled with socialists and anarchist

Who also have the right to protest. Let us not forget that. I don't agree with fascism or fox-hunting, but they have the right to assemble aswell.

In globalised capitalism we are run by the bankers. The Royals have very little power without breaking the constitution, and the House of Lords have no power above the Commons. Your defence of them protecting us against the bankers is pointless.

A right to protest, NOT RIOT!

But the overview is still there!
