2's Company
Hi i work for voice marketing on a zero hours contract. I've been layed off this due to our campaign finishing early. I have had a look at my contract and it says something about been layed off if there is a shortage of work but on the next page that if this happens they employer will guarantee pay?? Does this mean i will be paid for the hours i should have been working this week? Thanks in advance
Ghostrider
If its in the contract, they have to honour it....
steveh
It will depend on the exact wording of the contract, what you've said above isn't enough to be sure either way.
2's Company
I WILL POST WHAT IT SAYS IN THE CONTRACT ON LATER. tHANKS:)
steveh
It might help but without the whole thing it's still not going to be sure. I'm 99% certain you won't get anything as you are on a 0 hours contract and they'll guarantee you your fixed hours pay, which are 0.
phil_si
Are they not still recruiting? If so then surely they could just re-deploy?
RustyBanjo
if you ask me you are better off out of there anyways, was it at the new!! site or the old one??
