But to be honest it probably had something to do with Feminism challenging the stereotypes which had been imposed on them in previous eras. We now seem to be back in the action man and Barbie doll mentality which limits both genders in my opinion. The seventies seemed more accepting of the polarity between male and Female in us all. More respectful of emotion and feeling as well. Which led to better relationships and better sex. I find the modern take on male/Female relationships to be superficial and frankly quite demeaning to both sexes. Like a cattle market rather than a beach party!
