Straw criticised for abuse comments !

My parents retired to France, they speak fluent French and are valued contributers to the local community. How does that fit in with your insulting stereotype of the English abroad?

Well that's good for your parents to have done so but just look at Spain where the English live in English speaking ghettos and do not try to integrate with the Spanish.

Another silly post, British ex-pats do not live in ghettos, that one comment alone sums you up perfectly.

The British are welcomed into Spain as they are in many Mediteranean countries, have you ever lived abroad as a British ex-pat.

You slag off our armed forces with ridiculous claims, you slag off our government you slag off our legal system.

since when did voicing ones opposition to the illegal barbaric bombing and invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan translate into despising England and slaging it off? People from all backgrounds in this country are opposed to those vile genocidal wars including families of dead British soldiers

Some english ex-pats in spain do live as you say. Some don't and integrate.

What does that prove?

Is there in your view some inherant flaw in the English people because that is what you seem to be driving at and it does you no credit at all.

Most English people in Spain live in English speaking areas away from the mainstream Spanish population and have not integrated in the slightest even the food is English.

Yes I have lived abroad.

the flaw is in the hypocracy of the English demanding others integrate with the English while the English do no such thing and never have done.

And you're the one who excuses the muslim terrorists in those countries of their daily slaughter of their own civilians which has resultd in more fatalities than the heroic liberators have caused, Saddam slaughtered more of his own Iraqi people than those killed by the valiant coalition forces.

The taleban has killed more muslim people in Afghanistan than the coalition.

Which is quite understandable because most of the new developements are built on newly developed land. You don't seem very well informed.

Yes I have lived abroad.

Where?
