Who are they? Not very nice people: wiki and their hompage. For those who can't be bothered to click the links, American Rennaisance is a white supremacist organization. It's not completely clear yet what kind of creature this man is. Apparently he's read Hitler's Mein Kampf, the Communist Manifesto and posted a lot of rambling statements on Facebook. Seems he has a lot of grudges about political issues in general. The fact that he targeted Congresswoman Giffords, a Democrat with political middle of the road views does point to him being a right wing nutter. Seems to be struggling to find any ideology whilst struggling to get on in life and has an irrational/semi rational against 'the system'. He's a near on perfect stereotypical terrorist. Worse still these kind of people can feed their obsessions on hate websites on the internet. I can see his defense attorney using the old insanity plea when it comes time for his sentencing.
