A Short Poem - Take your time

Recommended Posts

Has thy dictated the rate, to which time ticks to you.

Harnessed the seconds, and watched an hour through.

Have you monitored the race between a millisecond or two.

Hasted the pace as the days rapidly renew.

Can you stop for a moment, take a second please do.

Pick a time and stick to it, set it's consistency to glue.

Use it Sparingly, it'll never exist again it's true.

And the years will pass you by if you let them slip from view.

The tides of time don't recede there is no space to ebb.

Take all the time you need my friends and saviour the rest instead.

It hosts the most precious of events you should not let it past.

So take those seconds and stretch them out to make the buggers last.

Very very true.
