Englands easy way to recovery.

What you're suggesting is fundamentally unfair and goes against a basic right this country and the law has allowed for centuries and is essentially communism. It would be a slippery slope from this to being a despot nation.

My thinking is obviously too modern for you, in that I can think.. It is not communism .

Veiled insults don't get you anywhere sunshine. Its a poor plan that will never, ever be enforced because it goes against a basic human right

There is no insult sunbeam. The plan is the fairest plan for everybody and you know it. It gives true equality. What have you got against equality?

All people aren't born equal. Reducing everyone to financial zero won't make that so

It will certainly improve equality and so is a step in the right direction. The personal wealth in this country is owned by far too few of its population. This wealth and power is passed from generation to generation. They use this wealth to maintain their position and make themselves wealthier at the expense of poorer people. The recession was contrived by them for their benefit and to make everyone else suffer while they get richer.

It won't improve equality one iota. All it will do is start everyone off poor and the capable will rise and the less capable or unable will not and be a burden to society(you can argue they already are but the situation would become worse). Its also fundamentally unfair to seize assets from people leaving an established family in a worse off position.

For example a married couple with children and the house is in the mums name. Mum is involved in an accident and dies. Is it honestly fair to evict the family and take everything they own because the mum has died. Leaving them homeless and poor and in a far worse off position?

New ideas often upset and annoy others , it does not make them nonsensical. I have an idea that would bring true equality to this country and would improve the quality of life for the masses, but people do not want to know simply because it is different and does not feed individual greed which unfortunately is how we have been conditioned.

LOL. So patronising.

It's not a new idea; it's just a very short-sighted and foolish one!

Tell you what: how about you give all your money to the Government when you die. Then you'll have lived according to your beliefs and everyone is happy.

You cannot possibly be more reasonable than that.

It would create true equality as everyone knows. People would feel stimulated and enthused because they are getting a fair crack of the whip. Society would improve drastically and the crimerate very quickly fall away. It would instill a community spirit in people and also a love of their fair country. It would teach them real values!
