Trashiest book on your bedside table?

Recommended Posts

Neither are trashy but I have "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" on my bedside table that I am reading with my oldest and then I have "The Swan Thieves" by Elizabeth Kostova. Just started that one so can't say much about it. I read "The Historian" also by Kostova and it was excellent.

Loved The Historian, was bored out of my mind by The Swan Thieves.

I've just finished Ours are the Streets by Sunjeev Sahota, a story told in the first person about a Sheffield lad who becomes radicalized when he visits Pakistan and comes back here to blow up Meadowhall.

An easy enough read but with a serious story..after that I'll look to something trashy to give my mind a rest, an old Ngaio Marsh detective novel or something similar.
