Arizona gunman why a trial?

Recommended Posts

My, you need to be constantly 'spoon fed' information, don't you?

Incapable of doing your own research, or just too lazy?

Alleged Arizona shooter Jared Lee Loughner has Jewish mother, acquaintance says

An acquaintance of Jared Lee Loughner, the accused gunman in the shooting of U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, says his mother is Jewish.

Bryce Tierney, a friend of Loughner from high school, told Mother Jones magazine that the alleged gunman posted “Mein Kampf” as a “favorite book” on a social media site in part to provoke his mother, who Tierney says is Jewish.

The Democrats never were a socialist party - and they became one their share of the vote would fall to effectively nil. Even working-class Americans don't want socialism within a million miles of their governments.

The American trade unions actively support the Democrats in all elections.

Despite the erosion in membership over the past two decades they are still a very powerful force to be reckoned with and contribute very large sums to Democrat candidates.

The Democrat party historically have fought for the rights of the working man and have passed such beneficial programs as Social Security, Medicare and the Equal Opportunity law although thankfully they never advocated nationalizing everything in sight and declaring war on personal initiative and those with money.

They're a long way from Socialism in the European sense

Oh, more than just two sources. I realise that your head may be spinning at such a concept, but gathering information from various sources is how we adults hopefully arrive at the truth. Do you just take your 'truth' from one single source and hope for the best?

Here is another source:

Aaron Klein, Jerusalem bureau chief for World Net Daily:

One user on Twitter, Caitie Parker, wrote she went to high school, college, and was in a band with the gunman. She said she hadn’t seen him since 2007.

Parker wrote of Lougher, “As I knew him he was left wing, quite liberal and oddly obsessed with the 2012 prophecy.” She also described him as “more left.”

On his now deleted MySpace page, Lougher left a series of rants, including:

* If there’s no flag in the constitution then the flag in the film is unknown. There’s no flag in the constitution. Therefore, the flag in the film is unknown. Burn every new and old flag that you see. Burn your flag!”

I mentioned the fact that his mother is Jewish because this discredits his so-called links to the American Renaissance Movement - which is not exactly pro-Jewish in outlook. Rather than being a right-wing extremist, it seems he was a left-wing nut...

Of course his ethnicity had nothing to do with his cowardly, murderous attack. But his deeply disturbed far-leftist views almost certainly did...

Enough of this tedious nonsense - the thread was about why the bloke should be tried. Have you a view on that that doesn't involve his Jewish mother?

All the speculation is more than a little distasteful. But Interviewer's point is irrelevant not only are their Jews involved with AR but also in the case of Zundel explicit Nazism. The facts will come out later for now all we can know is the person in this case was clearly a disturbed individual

How rude. I was responding to a poster who asked me if I was making things up. To prove that I was not, I had to provide some links.

Of course he should be tried in a court of law.

If he is mentally able to stand trial, and then found guilty, he should be executed.

I'll bet he wont be. He has all the symptoms of a raving loony

What I have a problem with is why intelligent people even discussing the why's? It just seems plainly obvious, unless western democracy just did a nosedive back into the dark ages.

I think we're discussing it in the probably vain hope that the OP (presumably not very bright) will be educated.
