Swans are protected by the law. You can have as many pigeons as you want - the town centre is full of them. Some farmers will allow you to shoot rabbits on their land becasue they're classed as pests. Keep chickens. Fresh eggs every day and a casserole when they stop laying. Or a goat - fresh milk and then a carribean stew. Ask at your local chinese takeaway for the best method of cooking dogs and cats. You're not allowed to kill anyone's pets though.
