yeah its true for atoms, as there are 3 atoms in a water molecule, so 3 times as many.

 

And its true for molecules of water in a glass, compared to glasses of water in the ocean.

There are 1.64763819 times 10 to the power 23 ... molecules of water in a teaspoon! ... quite a lot admittedly! However I think the analogy I've heard is there's as many molecules in a cup of water than there're cups of water in the world. Can't find anything on Google as yet! (also depends on how big the cup of water is too I guess!) ... interesting question and hope one of our fellow forummers will help out!
