Sausage Dog
The Sunday Times is reporting that a serving Labour MP, who represents a northern constituency, has reported 6 other MPs (2 Labour, 2 Conservative and 2 Lib Dem) to the police over their expenses claim. The article implies that the MP believes that he is being unfairly singled out for investigation over his own allowances. Could the man in question be Rotherham's very own Denis MacShane, who is currently being investigated by the police? http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2011/jan/16/mp-reports-colleagues-police-expenses-claims

He could probably have found a whole lot more, especially on the Conservative benches, but is presumably trying to make a point.
crazybaby
Whilst we're at it, how did these three get away with it http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2010/10/21/peers-suspended-from-house-of-lords-over-expenses-claims-115875-22648943/ and does this mean they'll be allowed to go back and carry on with the job once they've paid up? upinwath
Is Rotherham MP a grass? So what. A 'grass' is simple someone making crime more difficult. Only idiots and people with something to hide call informants, grasses. That's trying to make it sound like there's something wrong with stopping an illegal act.
