sharrowman
Strikes me as little more than an opportunity for profiteering. The relentless management speak of choice and efficiency are misleading propaganda. My crystal ball says downhill from here for service from the NHS. dell12
I'm not always convinced that 'more choice' is necessarily better for for the NHS. Personally I'd rather have a good local hospital than have the choice to go elsewhere. We've also seen what a cost PFI hospitals have become to the taxpayer after promising that they would save us all millions.
sharrowman
I'm not always convinced that 'more choice' is necessarily better for for the NHS. I agree, additionally, I'm not convinced the propsed reform will provide more choice.
sharrowman
No body bothered about NHS reform? Or is their a SF investment fund heavily involved in marketing to GP Commissioners who want to keep schtum?
Mecky
Generally, thought by most (media?) to be a bad idea
decaff
I'm wary of GP's being put in control of their own budget. Surely this will take up more of their time and we'll lose patient hours while they're managing the money. I remain open to the idea but if we lose patient hours then this is a bad move.
