Having places which are specifically designed to allow foreigners to integrate can only be a good thing. Sending a British person to a place which is designed to allow foreigners to integrate, is palpably silly - the British are already integrated. This is Britain. I have aspirations for a future world where half the population is not deprived of access to clean fresh water, where people do not die of easily treatable diseases, where there are no wars over territory or faith, where profit and greed are not the prime motivators for life. Clean fresh water? We as a country found our own, Dying of disease, we educated ourselves to treat these diseases, wars?? aren't we in Iraq now? and profit and greed, Not been to south Africa then? And another question on a serious note, in these 3 rd world countries that we sent millions to each year, why do they still have children? they are dying starving etc but they still manage to have children?? Kaimani Posted January 19, 2011 Share Posted January 19, 2011 If it is untrue about this country bending over backwards to the extent that it does then why do immigrants risk their lives to get here and why do they not just stay in France. as mush as it's an inconvenient fact people from English speaking parts of the world come here, from french parts go to France etc. legacy of colonialism, i'm afraid, and many countries have people saying "...this country bending over backwards.." so, you're not alone, if that helps.
