The man who took his life from you,was nothing but a thief,

Although we've experienced death before,it did not prepare us for this grief.

 

He is a thief because he stole from us , a gentle loving son.

I wonder if he sleeps at night after what he's done.

 

 

As life began to drain from you on that life support machine,

For many days afterwards, it seemed like a bad dream.

 

I am here with my glass of wine, it's true I've had a few,

Your Mum and your family, we desperately miss you.

I really shouldn't drink so much, it makes me so morose.

It's meant to be a release from our everlasting sorrows.

 

The "Star" said you'd been laid to rest

Your friends all did you proud,

darcy with his tribute had us laughing out aloud,

And Ollie read his poem ,it was a mark of respect,

The affection with which he held you,

with which we all could connect.

 

I picked some tunes, I know you liked,

The Pogues and Marvin Gaye,

All I have to say my son,

I wish you were here today.
