Yeah its called customer relations strategy...if you are the ONLY person at the bar it stands that they are not going to make enough to cover their costs for opening up that night unless you spend a few hundredwhich is unlikely, so they wont really be all that bothered at serving anyone unless an unexpected coach party of hard drinking partying German tourists arrives who are thirsty enough to drink the place dry in one hour......
