vwkittie Posted January 23, 2011 Share Posted January 23, 2011 I drove quite a bit before having lessons, although I was lucky that there was a massive beach not too far away where everyone went (even tiny tots sitting on dad's knee!!) to have a go at driving. I think it's a good idea to get a bit of confidence before going out on the roads, didn't do me any harm anyway, just to get the feel of clutch control and changing gear.
