It's logically impossible to prove you are not married. No matter how many times you don't produce a marriage certificate, it's always possible that there is a marriage certificate lying around somewhere you haven't looked yet. I'm amazed that the Ibizan/Spanish authorities are daft enough to require an impossibility. Very true. Unless of course there is such a thing as a 'not married' certificate.
