Kaimani
suggestions for what, we're discussing the idea of seizing the assets of the richest people in the country, I've shown why it's wrong, impossible and stupid, what more do you want? no doubt. it's buffoonery of the highest order. but the idea that there's just too much money and power in the hands of too few does have merit i think. Maybe, but stealing it isn't the answer.
Kaimani
Maybe, but stealing it isn't the answer. agreed. i did say what's needed is a whole new way of thinking. the idea of fair wages, charity, responsibility and honesty in taxes paying etc at the top. and at the bottom, hard work ethic, no leaving beyond your means and responsibility for your own achievements and upkeep without depending too much on handouts etc... money and its distribution is just a symptom, neither the cause nor the solution. Lucifer
why dont we just make them pay the national debt? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/personalfinance/7624159/Sunday-Times-Rich-List-2010-Britains-richest-see-wealth-rise-by-one-third.html instead of cutting meals on wheels.. we are sheep thats why. Envy is not a good thing. Maybe they are priveledged, maybe they are self made people, it's easy to critise other people because we don't have fore bears to leave us money or that we have the lack of ability to make our own way in life but to expect other people to employ us. Thats life, make money due to your own ability and contribute to the better of other people. Think you could be the new Alan Sugar, but you have to get of you arse. splodgeyAl
When you buy a beer, is the brewery stealing from you? If you buy a pair of socks form a high street shop, are they stealing from you? No, but if the owner of that shop marries say a Monacan, makes her a director of his retail business, then pays most of the shop's profits to her in an effort to avoid paying tax on said profits... Cue the avoidance / evasion debate. These rules are made by the rich...
