Riccardoh
We desperately miss the Kashmir up Spital Hill. The Curries were fantastic as were the Naans. But the Naans were a little bit unusual compared to your bog standard curry house. Does anyone have any ideas how they made them (I'd like to recreate them on Saturday )

PeteM01
We desperately miss the Kashmir up Spital Hill. The Curries were fantastic as were the Naans. But the Naans were a little bit unusual compared to your bog standard curry house. Does anyone have any ideas how they made them (I'd like to recreate them on Saturday ) Instead of cooking them in a tandoor, the breads were oven cooked and then finished off with a flame-thrower! This made them more fluffy than most Bengali nan breads but I wondered if this was a Kashmiri style.
neeeeeeeeeek
Sounds more like 'the tandoor is broken' style!
PeteM01
Sounds more like 'the tandoor is broken' style! Or the "never 'ad no tandoor style". Quite spectacular at times, though.
