Smiling George: It Really is Bad News

Recommended Posts

Did you see Balls on Andrew Marr earlier, smirking at the prospect of unemployment rising? It makes my blood boil. The man is a total <removed>. At least Johnson admitted he knows nothing about figures or the economy. Balls is far more dangerous because he thinks he does know.

And is 'look' *patronising tone* the labour verbal tic equivalent of 'whatever'?

I did see it and he didn't smirk at all. If fact he hardly got a word in due to Andrew Marr's constant interuptions.

What we can agree on is that once again unemployment will go up under the Tories.

I like Mr Balls seems a lot more clued up than Osborne. Where's Vince these days anyway?
Ed Balls!...........another Prescott in the making!.and, clued up about what? how to bring this country to it's knees whilst whispering in the ear of the dour one?

Surely he would be better lining his pockets like 2 jags, and going off doing stupid adverts.

He might be delivering his messages of doom with a smile, but at least he won't be fueling an unsustainable level of public spending with debt.

All the previous lot was doing was saying "look at how good we are at spending your money on all these lovely things, we're spending so much we're even having to borrow extra that future generation will have to pay off", of course that was all done with a smile too. It might have sounded alright at the time, but unbeknown to many they were stealthily bending over the whole public ready to shaft us all up the arse. I think I'd rather take just a smile, even if it's not good news.

Why did the Cons say that they would match Labours spending plans up and till the downturn, which Labour were leading us out of by the financial stimulus measures we and other countries used to keep us out of a total econmic collapse, brought about by the Cons friends the bankers.

Maybe he reminds you of the "Socialist King of Cash"............Antonio Teflon Blair.

All too true, unfortunately. I openly support the politics of the left but Blair was no socialist. That guy was in it for himself. He surrounded himself with thickos like Prescott, Hazel Blears et al to make himself appear smart.
