PinkPatti
I have a Krugerrand encased in a gold kind of mount. its a 1/10 says fine gold on it. and 1981. Thinking if selling it, does anyone have any idea how much it would fetch and where best to sell it? Im a bit unsure about e-bay...

Digsy
Approx £80, Check Ebay for a going rate, they tend to sell for more than scrap value. Or somewhere like http://www.howcashforgold.co.uk/ for guide price.
RazorSHarp
The gold price is more than the coins collectable value these days. Expect to get anywhere between £75 and £110 for it.

PinkPatti
Thanks to all who replied. All your good advice has helped and I have decided not to sell it on. I have a sovereign too, but Im going to hold on to both. They have sentimental value. Its sad that some people relish others misfortune and try to make a fast buck! - Patricia
Digsy
I think it's a wise choice not to sell right now, if you look at the charts for gold and wait until it peaks again so you get the best value for your gold.
