flamingjimmy
Well, that's an incredibly naive and over simplistic outlook. I don't even know where to start, so I won't. enjoy your ignorance.
Halibut
A mainly white, conservative(with a small c) western civilisation is what modern capitalism as we know it today, was built on. I contest that it is anti-capitalism that is at the heart of all the left's campaigning against the supposed social injustice in a capitalist western society. Then you're so dense it's almost funny. It is a rather simple OP, but its just what i suspect is going on, in a nutshell. As i see it, just about everything the left stands for and campaigns for, harms or stifles capitalism. HeadingNorth
Given that the term "left wing" is generally applied to people who believe in socialism and not capitalism, your argument is tautologous and therefore worthless. It's equivalent to saying that people who like rain are anti-dry.

All this political correct, society changing legislation is pushed by socialists of the left. I thought it was the Marxists on the left, ably assisted by Tony Bliar and his warehouse full of lawyers. And they ain't socialists!
Mecky
I think he's picked up a cliche phrase from somewhere and wants to to try it out on us without really understanding the phrase himself.
