Mecky
I thought it was the Marxists on the left, ably assisted by Tony Bliar and his warehouse full of lawyers. And they ain't socialists! Marxist? What is Marxism?

HeadingNorth
Er, yes, I know, thats why I said it, thats the whole point im making. It isn't a point. Stating that people who are against capitalism are against capitalism is not making any point, it's simply tautologous.
Mecky
You seem like the intelligent type, I'm not going to argue with you. The only reason I ask is because Marx never said people should do or not do anything; he just theorised want would happen if specific economic conditions occur. TeaFan
The only reason I ask is because Marx never said people should do or not do anything; he just theorised want would happen if specific economic conditions occur. That's not actually correct, though. Marx said 'the philosophers have interpreted the world, the point is to change it'. And he wrote the Communist Manifesto with Engels. Hots on
It isn't a point. Stating that people who are against capitalism are against capitalism is not making any point, it's simply tautologous. Fair enough. I was making an observation, not of the obvious fact that socialists are anti-capitalist, but that real agenda behind their "progressive ideas" is anti capitalism. melthebell
As i see it, just about everything the left stands for and campaigns for, harms or stifles capitalism. what you mean is all the exploitation, greed, selfishness and not giving a damn about anything but money should be let free reign and all the ones against it are scum?
