HeadingNorth
Is your contract with Groupon or Essensuals? If the voucher is not fit for purpose, the complain is with Groupon, I think. Groupon may (or may not) have a complaint against the salon if the salon is refusing to honour legitimately-sold vouchers.
Nagel
Groupon seems to be a double edged sword for many retailers with many reporting problems with being overwhelmed with bargain hunters who can break their business. Funny article on Groupon and their useless offers here - http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/business/online-coupons-save-britons-%C2%A35bn-on-things-they-don%27t-want-201109014256/
ElasticMan
I only bought one - disaster. It was a Car Valet offer, supposedly based in Hillsborough. Except it turned out to be a 1 man business, who hadn't even started up yet. The phone number provided didn't work, then Groupon emailed saying the offer had changed. Finally they offered a refund. Contact Groupon - any unused vouchers can be refunded by them.

Good point. I know someone with a small hotel who is inundated with bookings they don't make a profit on, and the Groupon guests think that the price includes the towels and everything else that isn't nailed down.
