Agent Orange
Has Bradford won the champions league or something? Look Leeds coverage seems to suggest so.
mpchooligan
Despite the news of murders, etc Fact is these crimes are commited by immigrants not Sheffield people I suppose that goes for Leeds too. Are you crazy mr xenophobic? ---------- Post added 22-02-2013 at 22:31 ---------- tonight's Look North: 2 Sheffield stories (South Yorkshire Police and a murder), 2 Scarbrough stories (Jimmy Saville and the landslide), 1 Leeds story (the Arena :/), Bradford City got quite a bit of time (they've been on about this for ages now *yawn*) and Leeds Rhinos
lazarus
Has Bradford won the champions league or something? Look Leeds coverage seems to suggest so. It was exactly the same blanket coverage on Calendar, not everybody is bothered about football BUT its a good job it wasnt Leeds United, we would have had to endure 24/7 coverage on both local? news programmes. ---------- Post added 23-02-2013 at 13:08 ---------- Are you crazy mr xenophobic? Just the facts, just the facts, check for your self. by the way I cant play a xenophobe!!
illuminati
Noticed yesterday that some slow news story about Leeds made it to the headlines, today the same but NO news about a poor dog tortured and set fire to burn to death in Sheffield! this was even on the front page of the Star! ---------- Post added 28-02-2013 at 01:01 ---------- I of course, understand that the front page of the Star does not necessarily constitute news! alchresearch
Sheffields best bars and pubs are streets ahead of Leeds. Or anywhere in the country. Sheffield has better parks and its best areas rival anywhere. What brings Sheff down is its shopping area. Which frankly is a nasty joke. Nah, Liverpool is the clear leader for quality pubs: Ale Map And Sunday's Countryfile said Bristol had the most parks and open spaces.
Mister M
This is probably for a different thread but I see that the opening of a new shopping centre in Leeds 'TRINITY LEEDS' is top of the local news. Is this such a big deal - Well obviously it is to the drones that have got dressed up to the nines to go to the official launch so they can traipse around and look at - shops - wow never seen one of those before! Apologies to those that do like shopping am in a cynical mood today

Mister M
To be fair when Meadowhall opened no doubt they did the same, you have your Leeds blinkers on here They probably did, but that was over 20 years ago when some people might have been forgiven for never having been in a shopping centre, and wondered what all the fuss was about. I'm just watching the Look North broacast now aghast and am curiously reminded of Dawn / Day of the Dead.
