spindrift
Newcomers to a country should integrate into their chosen countries way of life otherwise why choose that country ? David Cameron is trying to stop there being countries within a country. For the fourth time, I asked where thse "no go areas" are and was told it was where I live! I'm white! Can I go home? Kaimani
i despise the guy, and most of what he stands for, hope his reign is short, but he does have some valid points. he's not ranting like some extreme right fool talking about repatriation or some such buffoonery. he's simply saying everyone should be equally answerable for their actions, from what i can see. that hiding behind race or religion(whether you're the aggressor or the down-pressed) should be eliminated, just as abuse because of race or religion should be. it is also valid that communities tend to know their own better, and that they(the law abiding, liberal and civil majority) should take it upon themselves to speak up when the nuts mess up. i think his timing is a bit dubious, but, then again, there might never be the right time. Bassman62
What Cameron and the detractors seem to forget is that multiculturism isn't a contemporary invention, it's 'failure' didn't become apparent after two jets flew into the Twin Towers in 2001. !00% correct, the great British statesman Enoch Powell made the point in his brilliant 'Rivers of Bloos' speech. harvey19
For the fourth time, I asked where thse "no go areas" are and was told it was where I live! I'm white! Can I go home? I haven't mentioned no go areas. Maybe if you read the complete speech in a calm and objective way you may agree with it. He is in reality saying the same as you are. spooky3
... What the heck is Muscular liberalism ... This country is tied up in red taped human rights, we have introduced more than any other and it's created so many hiding holes for freaks to hide in! ... who are these organisations that he compares to right-wing fascist parties? If he wants to be taken seriously then he should name and shame. Banging on about publicly funded 'fascist' organisations is just nonsense unless he has some evidence to back up his argument. And even if he did have some evidence about a few rogue orgs - would this justify his attack on the Muslim community? ... He's giving them a chance to get their house in order. He's not just publicly slamming them as you would expect him too! (Yet!)

Can I go home? http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/today/reports/archive/politics/oldham1.shtml An investigation for Today has found disturbing evidence that Asian youths in parts of Oldham are trying to create no go areas for white people. He is trying to remove barriers to integration as I see it and create a loyal population.
Bassman62
For the fourth time, I asked where thse "no go areas" are and was told it was where I live! I'm white! Can I go home? My nephew when working for the Court Bailiffs department went to a house on Burngreave, he was confronted by a black guy who asked where he'd got permission from to go on "his street", very soon a threatening crowd of Black people had assembled. When they returned with a police escort it was then called "insensitive policing". In other words a lose lose situation.
boyfriday
No, it's about people coming into a community and becoming part of it. Did these alien communities arrive and drive out the indigenous population with their pitchforks? The indigenous left of their own accord, many selling their properties and taking the money from newcomers. Not changing it to their own homeland community and expecting others to accept it outright! I dont believe I was suggesting that should be the case.
