Womens Self Defense/Martial arts classes

Recommended Posts

I've been to a couple of "self defence" classes and in general haven't really rated them. The ones I have seen try to teach over complex maneuvers that frequently rely on your opponant responding to what you are doing in a particular way. If anything many of them are actually counter-productive as they instill a sense of false security which can lead to problems. What some self defence classes can do (and one of the most usefull things to do on a short course) is to teach people more about situational awareness.
