That'll be a no, then.

Ok as you are clearly incapable of following a link, which even shows you how to use a popular internet search, I will quote from one of the links

I have just returned from a day out at Paisley Sherrifs Court in which a case numbered SC/160-08 Combined Parking Solutions -v- Krystof Byrkwich had a full hearing as a summary cause action.

The proof hearing lasted 3hours and the defendant had listened to forums such as this and also following the advice of a leading road traffic lawyer in Scotland who basically said PPC invoices were worthless etc.

The Sunday Mail in Scotland had been doubt articles recently about PPCs (google Sunday mail private parking) and you will see article.

Well this defendant racked up over 30tickets in various carparks - not just combined parking but thanks to the PPC database other tickets were also discovered.

Well the outcome was victory for CPS, he was ordered to pay 3240 for the tickets plus all legal costs (proof diet set for jan 7th) but will be around 2k with everyones expenses.

So a few tickets by someone who thought they were worthless is tonight approx £5500 out of pocket

Oh and another one http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?126436-PPC-Court-Case-Transcript-here in Harrogate

There are many more if you wish me to continue, on that last one the PPC even claimed as part of their expenses, parking!!

on the other forum thread, where people constantly jump on you, for posting non proof, you claimed you keep commenting to wind people up, and that you are NOT a paid employee of the company.

yet in this thread you are actually encouraging him to "pay it".

anyone else find bonjons behaviour strange to keep looking for threads about excel and then posting up the same "they will take you to court so pay it"? claims.

why bother, seriously, if you dont benefit personally /financially, whats it got to do with you? and before you reply with whats it got to do with me, i dont keep trying to get fellow forum goers to shell out their hard earned when maybe there isnt a legal case to answer.

i honestly cant fathom why you encourage complete strangers to pay up ???

let them make their own mind up and post either way, if they are mugs they will chicken out and pay it, if they have balls they will ride the fake invoices/solicitor letters etc.

at least 2 people (myself included) have offered £100 to charity or even toward the legal bills of the first sheffield forum person to appear in court with excel for non payment. my offer stands.

CPS was the name of the parking company, confused me slightly as well.

To be fair, it doesn't need to be a Sheffield case, we don't have a different flavour of law in Sheffield, but non of these judgements sets a precedent, so nothing has really been decided yet.

here is the only link anyone needs at present for advice when dealing with any parking companies (as opposed to police and council ones which must be dealt with)

you will see the running total at 24 PPC cases and 0 cases taken to court and won. i think i trust Martin Lewis to report accurately as opposed to random forum dwellers.
