lomax
Afternoon all, I've recently moved back to Sheffield after about 7 years away. I was wondering if anyone could recommend bars that are a little different in the city; I'm aware of Bungalows & Bears but I'm thinking more intimate affairs or cellar bars squirrelled away in odd corners, with twinkling lights and a nice jovial atmosphere - some good* tunes playing but nothing overbearing. (*I am fully aware that 'good' is thoroughly subjective - I'm thinking chilled out beats and stuff like Roy Ayers, Gil Scott-Heron, laid back kind of stuff, cosmic/italo-disco vibes) Can anyone help? Or is Sheff still a largely pub-based drinking place (not that there's anything wrong with pubs at all) Thanks in advance!
