Grahame
yes thats correct ,so its me thats causing the problem and spoiling her future You speak well of Jehovah Witnesses and it sounds as though you are well inclined towards them? If it pleases your wife and perhaps helps with her depression then would it be possible for you to do as she wishes? I can visualise her relaxing in her mind and the tensions fading away and a more harmonious home? Just my thoughts for what they are worth and if I may I would like to wish you both the Lords blessing in your life together. God bless.
flamingjimmy
Ok last point first, cults have to fit a certain criteria to be known as a cult and JW's do not, but I will leave you to research that for yourself as I am tired, but I do know that I am correct.Lol, so much for respecting others opinions. Last reply now, you ask if in my opinion it is possible to respect a belief you hold to be fundamentally wrong. Can one respect such a view, and should one respect it?... I believe that you should still respect the person and their right to holding belief even if you cannot agree with the belief. Not a single person has suggested otherwise, you arguing with imaginary people here. Of course we respect your right to hold any beliefs you want, but if it's a bad belief that we think is wrong and perhaps even harmful. Then we do not have to, and should not respect that belief. sccsux
If not, IGNORE IT !!! Simples................ With most religions this approach works well. It falls over when you get to cults such as the JWs and the mor(m)ons who embark on "door knocking" missions.

Grahame
Are you seriously suggesting that indulging in his wife's religious fantasies will help her mental state??? Couples do things together. What about these fantasies? "Every woman on earth has fantasized about some explicit sexual fantasy that she may or may not have been too ashamed to talk about. Whether it's your girlfriend or your wife, this top ten list is sure to touch on a forbidden fantasy of her own. Although most women prefer to leave their fantasies at that, others have a list that they are slowly but surely accomplishing. So the next time your woman seems to be wandering off in thought, who knows, she may be cruising around in the mystical world of sexual fantasy." http://www.healthyplace.com/sex/psychology-of-sex/womens-top-ten-sexual-fantasies/menu-id-1482/ Second question. Why the heck can't you stop interfering.

For goodness sakes you just appear to be nit picking at what I have said, on the first point why was I not respecting his opinion? I was merely stating that factually it was wrong, but his opinion remains what it is no doubt, fair enough. On the second point I was answering a question asked of me, so how is that arguing with imaginary people? in fact don't bother answering at all, because I am fed up of answering now which is my prerogative, I think that I have said all that I want/need to...I have more to do with my day than nit picking with people that can narrow mindedly only see one side anyway. sccsux
has anyone ever invited witnesses into their home?. My brother did (whilst he was still living with our parents). He made them a cup of tea and left them in the living room whilst he "legged it" and left them for my mother to find ten minutes later:D.
