Cynic
After bills, food and petrol I usually save the rest. I've done that for years. My jam jar is nearly full though now so I'll have to find somewhere else to put it.

charlie9865
Bills paid firstly, I don't do debt don't see point. I then seperate my gas and electric money from my sum I have and shopping money. I then check if kids need anything, clothes, school stuff and uniform, new shoes. And I always save money for days out. If there is anything left I have it for clothes or a haircut or something to treat myself. I am someone that hates debt, a few of friends new and old have things through bright house. And loans off provident, but I would rather save up then have a loan. Can say everything is bought and paid for then, and if I can't afford I don't have, and save up. Simple as, I just see it as long as we are fed and watered, have a roof over our heads. What more does anyone need
