mojo1
I spend the pitiful remnants of my income on charcoal biscuits for my dog! And Avon Lavender and Chamomile room spray. Only because your Avon lady is a delightfully charming lady and you can't refuse her.:hihi: After food and bills mine pretty much goes on gardening stuff at the moment. It depends on the month, how much the bills come to... and how generous his ladyship is feeling

manofstrad
Presumably with a few variations (whether you have children or not, etc...) we'd all fit into some broad stereotypes. We (all of us) spend money on eating (out), travelling (including holidays), hobbies of various kinds, habits and socialising, repairing stuff and maintenance, toys and gadgets, saving, and so on. Only the specific amounts will vary and I doubt that anyone is about to give us a monthly budget to peruse. I do save as much as I can but I would be very surprised if everyone (all of us) earns, claims enough money to save on a weekly basis?

manofstrad
I blow the lot on beer and fags, and bleach to mop the flat. Have you ever thought about how much money you could save if you stopped spending it on bleach?
Rampent
Have you ever thought about how much money you could save if you stopped spending it on bleach? Yeah, good point, the bleach I get is from Poundland, and IMO watered down with water. I think I should buy that better stuff from Spar that has more beef. Than just smelling like a bleach. Maybe the stuff has turps init, or something. I could then maybe add a few more cans to the weeky binge fest.

Badlittlepup
I would say about 30% accommodation, 15% car insurance, 8% petrol and public transport, 10% food, 8% TV, internet and phone, 5% council tax and the other 24% p****d up the wall!
