Mubarak steps down, and hands power to army.

A fantastic victory for the protestors in Tahrir Square - I salute you.

 

I hope the army will use it's powers responsibly and that no more lives will be lost.

 

Apparently, this means VP is out of office also now.

 

will they rename the country IRAN 2 (this time we mean it)

We are assuming that the protestors actually represented the views of the majority of Egyptians. It seems outside Cairo not many were agreeing.

A few hundred thousand on the streets in a country of 80,000,000 can't be guaranteed to speak for everyone. The Rolling Stones have drawn bigger crowds but the government hasn't changed as a result.
