Mubarak steps down, and hands power to army.

Recommended Posts

440,000 military represent 1/3 of the Egyptian economy. There are lots and lots of entrenched interests which the military will not voluntarily give up without a fight or some struggle. The people may have their day in Tahriar square today. A full fledged democracy will take time and hard work, some times bloodshed, to achieve.
