PurpleStar25
Hey people!! I moved from the small town of Bridlington about 5 months ago, and to be honest its been quite a struggle gettin used to the big change. So basically i'm attempting to make new friends that i can go on nights out with as i love to party, dance and sing n have a general laugh. I am a 25 gay female, in a relationship just basically wanting to make friends and hopefully start to make a life. And also its been 5 months and i haven't even checked out Sheffield's night life yet lol. So if anyone has a space for me in their club, gang, posse or just generally wants a new friend then it be great to hear from you Jenny
welshgirl
Hi Jenny, Sorry if you've already seen the v long thread about this, but here goes: from a previous thread we found that there are loads of us on the forum in our twenties and thirties who are new to Sheffield or who've found many of their friends have moved away. Anyway, a few of the guys met for a coffee, then some of us went to a pub quiz and now we have a facebook group (see link) with over fifty members. Anyone can join, it's free and I've met some really nice people through it. The events are posted on the forum too. Definitely a good way to meet some new people! Any questions feel free to drop me a message! Fi

mike-s
Hi welcome to Sheff, although I moved away years ago! Why leave sunny Brid? Did you live there long? a friend of mine had a record shop there for years then bought the San Marino apartments near the Spa. The record shop was called 'sight & sound'. All the best.
