Karis
Whoa, c'mon the problem is far from sorted. The latest walking robots are very impressive indeed. I particularly like the US army packmule one that can correct itself after being kicked quite hard. However they are a long way from being able to cross 'all kinds of terrain', surely? Let alone go with any speed and without making loads of noise. Bad Jimmy. Bad! Do you HAVE to pick up on every comment. I mean, again, really? I was talking about robots being able to walk and move generally - which has been accomplished quite well for a good few years now. These new walking robots are pretty sophisticated and I didn't feel we needed to go any further than that, really. This is about walking robots and sure, we've a long way to go before we have truly robust walking automatons (Honda's P3 falls over when the wind blows).
