HeadingNorth Posted February 13, 2011 Share Posted February 13, 2011 I don't know if your local bank is still legally obliged to exchange them, but even if not they will probably still do so. If they won't, you have to get it done at the Bank of England, which is a pain for anyone living outside London, but very easy for banks - hence, most banks will still exchange old notes long after they're no longer required to do so by law.
