sidewinder
Hey I'm looking for somewhere different to go for a walk, I'm quite new to Crookes and don't want to drive, apart from Crookes valley park is there somewhere I don't have to drive to where we can have a quiet stroll on a sunday morning? Herbaliser
You could try exploring the Bole Hills. Map here I normally go in at the entrance on Northfield Av (off Northfield Road). Alternatively, the Botanical Gardens is 10 mins walk down the hill.

Jayne
you could go from the bole hills down to rivelin valley and walk all the way along there into the peaks. It's good
Herbaliser
Good plan. Could even do a full circle- Bolehills to Rivelin, to the Peaks and round to the back of Endcliffe Park, then up through the Botanical Gardens to Crookes. Maybe... lizzyboo
ooooo, that's controversial. Crookes is a gorgeous place to live and as everyone else has said, there are so many lovely places nearby to walk.
