pigiron
Were they males or females? Doesn't matter - it must be a Guinness book record anyway.
callippo
could have been zlotys, or indo rupiah. Not all that strange. You are in Europe. Hardly surprising there's Euros floating around. I'll give you 1.32 for them, no commission. Euros are like dollars and UK pounds, you can change even the lowest bills in forex places worldwide. Dollars, you can change even 1s. Euros and pounds, 5s. Most other currencies, you can't exchange the very lowest bills.

VideoPro
Euros aren't strange at all. I got some out of the cash machine at my bank's branch up the road. Then I went to the baker, got some crusty french bread (pain de tradition). Stopped by the grocer's next door and bought cheese, tomatoes, sea salt, a basil plant and a bottle of red wine. I had the bread with cheese and tomatoes on it earlier, whilst sitting in the garden. Having the wine now. The remaining Euros are in my wallet. callippo
you can get Euros out of ATM's in London, just like you can US dollars, if you want. Which is what I'd expect of London in the 21st century.
