My auntie got married last year and her reception was at the fairways pub, at Birley golf course. We went straight from church to there, she paid for all of us to have carvery lunch...obviously your guests would pay for their own with the budget. Not sure of hire prices but rooms not a bad size! Been today- didn't have a 'proper' look but room is like one big hall with high ceuling and bar in wall at end. Can arrange tables as you wish and huge space for dancing. No real pretty outdoor space, or seats from what I cuold tell though, guests have to walk along a corridor to go to fag shelter outside. Cheapest by far and easiest lay-out (all in one rectangle room), biggest space to dance. But also out of the way, and no homeley charm like the hotel or outdoorsy nice feel like SV... so many good and bad points about all, dunno where to begin!
