lolliew
making the assumption that its a hard boiled egg tap the egg on a hard surface until the shell is all cracked and then peel away. Its easier if the egg is cool, so i run mine under cold water first. If its a soft boiled egg - or eating it from the shell - i find the only option is to have burnt fingers

foxy lady
Ok how do I do it without the white looking as though I've battered it with a stanley knife ! I know this one. Boil the egg. Plunge it into clod water for a couple of minutes. Crack the shell and it just drops off.
Amaranthus
Roll it on the table to form tiny little spiderweb cracks all over the shell - it practically falls off.
