A dynamite cigarette lottery?

Foreword: this thread is to discuss the idea raised in the OP, it is somewhat of a jokey thread, and concerns a THEORETICAL dynamite smoking lottery. If a MOD objects, could they please close the thread rather than delete it and state a reason for doing so. The identical thread from last night was quite a funny one up until somebody deleted it

 

 

Smoking kills, we all know that.

 

The graphic warnings are no longer having an effect. And so, we need to find a different way of persuading people not to smoke.

 

I propose a dynamite cigarette lottery. The odd cigarette could be replaced with a cigarette laced with dynamite, (minimum 20% tobacco so the smoker gets a couple of refreshing nicotine hits before detonation in order to make it humane).

 

We could blow up one a day. The fear of not knowing if your the next to blow would encourage people to stop smoking. The random detonation of people in the street would serve as a visual warning that would discourage others from taking up smoking.

 

An unintended consequence of a dynamite cigarette lottery might be a renaissance of pipe smoking, which would be good news for those working in the slipper industry.

Perhaps it is because it is a sexist policy?

 

Both sexes are more likely to smoke cigarettes, but women are even more so, than use rolling tobacco etc.

So the fact that this has already been removed twice in the last 24 hours doesn't make you think that we may object to it being posted for the third time?
