That must be a great comfort to him but bet the people who inherit his money if they're like him will bury in the back garden:thumbsup::hihi:
manofstrad
Whats the point of this thread?? so hes a boring, tight-fisted fella whos had no experiences or social life for 14 years but has 200k. So what? i've travelled the world, had tons of great nights out and eaten some great food, plenty of girlfriends that spent my money, never had much in my bank account at any one time. Wouldnt swap places with him to be honest. You might wish you had put a few quid to one side when you grow up.
julado
The OP missed off two very important words in the thread title..... Sad and Boring......it should have read.... My Sad and Boring Mate Has Saved £200,000 And do you know something....who cares?????
TJC1
You might wish you had put a few quid to one side when you grow up. Maybe I will but not at the expense of living life. Anyway the OP is talking absolute cobblers, the guy would have had to save £10-12k a year to save 200k (with interest). All this on a 17k a year job with a few years in between on the dole? No chance.
