syne Posted February 21, 2011 Share Posted February 21, 2011 something to do with holding a 'pose' your lack of breathing makes you stay still better and the only thing really moving is your arm and eyes.Concentration is gererally higher when you hold your breath. when I draw carefully I'll hold my breath. archers, snipers also. hard2miss Posted October 19, 2011 Share Posted October 19, 2011 I hold my breath cutting in. I used to if I was ever drawing though or when doing tattoos. Its like when snipers take a shot I suppose, its just so taking a breath does not de stabilise what task the arm and hands are doing, perfecty natural.
