Better off on benefits?

I've worked for many years and must admit I really enjoy it.

However, it seems like life is better claiming from the state and here is why.

People on benefits seem to go out more and seem to enjoy life in general. For me the majority of wages go straight to everyone else for gas, electric and all other bills etc but yet folks on benefits have these and can still have enough to go out and have a great time.

The one thing I miss is socialising outside of work due to lack of money and I'm sure I am not the only one.

Well this one will have a lot of people foaming at the mouth. This is true, take my word for it. I know someone who is a single parent and not working. She applied for a social fund loan. For what? Furniture she put on the application. She was awarded 400 quid. Did she buy furniture? No she go botox injections for her face...:hihi:

Don't kid yourself.Yes there are those that love the benefit's they get as they get it for doing nothing, to me there social misfits some are even pond life they will never achieve anything they have no pride or respect the only thing they look forward to is their dole money, 'Wow' what a life .Times may be hard right now, but to me you are the better person for working and paying your way .I suspect if the government put their new reforms into play the workshy are in for a shock ,we can only hope that is the case.

The exception to the rule. Theres loads of people jobless that would absolutely LOVE decent, honest paid work at the moment.

There will always be a minority that sponge off the govt and public.

and thats exactly the type of behaviour that alot of people think is the normal thing amongst people on benefits, maybe not the botox part, but the extravagant lifestyle type thing.

As the MP's whined, when they were at it, "its the system, the systems to blame"...

I don't blame anyone for getting what they can. Who can blame them..

Your premise that 'people on benefits seem to go out more and seem to enjoy life in general.' is a nonsense.

It's so vague as to be worthless.

I agree. Its so vague its hardly worth debating.

Its fair to say though that Labour disincentivized work. Thats worth talking about.

I don't see Labout getting back in any time soon, and even if they did, they can't afford to paying out the kind of benefits they have done for the past decade or so.

Hmmmm.... why is that I wonder?

But don't worry, one of the Milliband twins will be PM after the Boy David makes his exit. I know the British public and just how dense they are. They'll happily vote for a party they dumped last time if there's a new face at the helm. Policies, what are they?

Seriously, Labour to win the next election, you heard it here first.
