I do not understand why people are so curious about making wrong statements for an excellent skill. I have used reclaimed woods for my floors. So far, so good! My friends have a negative opinion about it. I asked them the reason behind it. No clear response from them yet. However, I feel that all negative views are because of some misunderstanding. Wood flooring became an important part of the home decoration. People use wood flooring for not only decoration but also a new trend in flooring. - It can also be part of the green effort for recycling. - Reclaimed wood flooring helps to make wonderful floors, reduce landfill waste, save living trees etc. - These types of woods are well aged. Hence stronger! - New woods cannot mimic texture, color and patina of these aged woods. - Many companies offer various designs and quality to make our floors beautiful.
